When you are satisfied with the way things are going in your life, you get to have a glow and a happy feeling inside you. On the other hand, when things become rough and problems seem unbearable, you feel miserable.

The above scenario also applies in the work place. People either have a good or a miserable job. Learning how to spot a miserable job is important so you know when to save or let go.

Tom Musbach of Yahoo! Hot Jobs has identified the three signs of a miserable job:

1. Anonymity. Employees feel neglected or anonymous when the boss or the supervisor doesn’t notice them or show little interest in them as unique individuals.
2. Irrelevance. Employees cannot relate to their job and find it hard to identify the purpose of their work.
3. Immeasurement. Employees are having a hard time measuring their contribution to the success of the organization.
